Mrs. Diana Frazier - Middle School Conductor

Diana Frazier is a 20 year veteran music educator. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Troy State University in 1998 and a Master of Music Education degree from Auburn University in 2009.  She began her career in Zephyrhills, Florida teaching band and elementary music. She later spent several years teaching in Montgomery, Alabama at both Capitol Heights Jr High and Georgia Washington Jr High schools. Mrs. Frazier is currently in her 9th year at Wetumpka Middle School in Wetumpka, Alabama. Throughout her career her bands have consistently received superior ratings at the Alabama Bandmasters Association’s Music Performance Assessment. In 2016, she was named Wetumpka Middle School’s Teacher of the Year. She also received the WSFA Class Act Award in 2018. 

Mrs. Frazier is an active member of the National Association of Music Educators, Alabama Music Educators Association, and Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional fraternity for women in music.  She and her husband Preston, live in Wetumpka with their two children, Sarah and Alex.
