Due to concerns over winter weather, the schedule for this weekend’s Symphonic Honor Band festival has been changed.  Update: Saturday’s schedule has been amended as such:

8:30-11:30am: Honor Band Rehearsals

11:30-1:00pm: Lunch

1:00-4:00pm: Honor Band Rehearsals

4:00-7:30pm: Dinner and Free Time for Honor Band participants

5:30-6:15pm: AU Concert Band dress rehearsal

6:15-7:15pm: AU Symphonic Winds dress rehearsal

7:30pm: AU Concert Band and Symphonic Winds in Concert at the Student Activities Center

We’re happy to provide video recordings of the auxiliary routines for "I’m a Believer" and "Brown Eyed Girl" for this year’s Alumni Band Reunion. Written instructions will be made available here soon.  (more…)

Due to an unfortunate technical difficulty with the online application server, some of you experienced issues in submitting an application last night.  In order to ensure that everyone has a chance to apply to our honor band festival, we are pushing back previously announced deadlines for Marching Honor Band applications.  The application deadline has now passed.  Directors will soon be contacted for their recommendations. Students interested in auditioning for the Symphonic Band on Monday, August 17th should sign up on our online form to reserve an audition time.  Percussionists should also make sure to inform Dr. Rosener via email as soon as possible of your intent to audition.
