In particular, we’d like to congratulate the principal players in both the Junior High/Middle School and High School Wind Symphonies, whom we’ve listed on the Honor Bands webpages. You are the best of the best in the state, and we are honored to have you participate in our festival. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
Due to concerns over winter weather, the schedule for this weekend’s Symphonic Honor Band festival has been changed. Update: Saturday’s schedule has been amended as such:
8:30-11:30am: Honor Band Rehearsals
11:30-1:00pm: Lunch
1:00-4:00pm: Honor Band Rehearsals
4:00-7:30pm: Dinner and Free Time for Honor Band participants
5:30-6:15pm: AU Concert Band dress rehearsal
6:15-7:15pm: AU Symphonic Winds dress rehearsal
7:30pm: AU Concert Band and Symphonic Winds in Concert at the Student Activities Center

The festivals will take place on February 11-13, 2010 for the high school festival and February 4-6, 2010 for the junior high festival.
