The Auburn University Symphonic Winds have been invited by the United States – China Cultural and Educational Foundation to the People’s Republic of China for a performance tour of approximately 10 days.  The tour is tentatively set to take place in the Spring of 2012, around Spring Break (between March 8 – 20). In the invitation from the foundation, it states:

Cultural exchange is our focus and primary mission. We continually strive to build bridges of understanding between The United States of America and The People’s Republic of China and hope that Foundation activities resulting in performances from wonderful musical ensembles like the Auburn University Wind Ensemble will enhance the unification of our great countries

Pre-Orders for this years Tiger Eyes calendar are now being accepted. The Calendars are $10 each.  If you are interested, please send an email to TigerEyesCalendar@gmail.com with your mailing address. The music for the 2011 Symphonic Band auditions has now been posted. To download the music for your instrument, go to the Symphonic Band Audition page. The auditions will be held August 16-18, and please check back around mid-July to sign up for an audition time.

Due to the ACT being held on June 11th, we have had to make separate schedules for the High School and Middle School Symphonic Band Camps. You can download these schedules from the Summer Symphonic Band Camps page.

The Auburn University Marching Band debuted a new uniform on the field in 2007, and that means that you can have a piece of history at home. The uniforms that the AUMB proudly marched in from 1995-2006 have been crafted into high-quality pillows, perfect gifts for your favorite Auburn Tiger fan. An order form with pricing information is available here as a PDF file. Orders will be accepted in cash, credit card, or check. Please note this offer is available only to current AUMB members and to band alumni; orders from others will not be accepted.
