Latoya Webb

LaToya Webb is currently pursuing her PhD in Music Education while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the Auburn University Bands. Prior to this position, she was the Music Director and Activities/Events Coordinator at Somerset Prep D.C. in Washington, D.C., she has also taught in Richmond Public Schools. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Music and Education, and a Master's Degree in Music Education with a Clarinet Emphasis both from Norfolk State University. Recently, she graduated with her second Master's Degree in Instrumental Conducting from George Mason University.

Ms. Webb is a proud native of Richmond, Virginia graduating from Huguenot High School. She has served as guest conductor of the Richmond Police Athletic League Community Band, Chesterfield Community Band, and the Richmond Public Schools All-City High School Band. She enjoys teaching, making people laugh, traveling, performing, and spending time with loved ones.

Ms. Webb's professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Education, College Band Directors National Association, the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc., and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
