Meghan Miller

Meghan Miller is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Music Education while also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the Auburn University Bands. Prior to this position, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Auburn University, graduating Cum Laude. While at Auburn, she studied clarinet under the direction of Dr. David Odom, performed with the Auburn University Symphonic Band and the Auburn Community Orchestra as the principal clarinetist, and served as the clarinet section leader of the Auburn University Marching Band for two years. Meghan also performed with the Alabama Intercollegiate Band in 2013 under the direction of Colonel John R. Bourgeois at the Alabama Music Educators Association Conference.

Meghan is originally from Athens, Alabama where she was actively involved in the community through music. Recently, she was invited to perform as a clarinet soloist with the Athens High School Concert Band where she performed Carl Stamitz’s Clarinet Concerto No. 3.

Ms. Miller’s professional affiliations include membership with the Alabama Music Educators Association, the National Bandmaster’s Association, the National Association for Music Education, Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Service Sorority, and Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
