Hello and War Eagle! My name is Ross Tolbert, and I am so honored to serve as Head Drum Major for the 2025 season. In the fall, I will be a fifth-year majoring in Music Education. I am from Helena, Alabama and I graduated from Helena High School in 2021. This season will be my fifth with the AUMB. In addition to the AUMB, I play oboe in Symphonic Winds and trumpet Basketball Pep Band.

Being a member of the AUMB was the best thing to come out of the past four years at Auburn. I have met so many wonderful people and have had the opportunity to be a part of an organization that has a huge impact on the Auburn family. I am so excited to meet all of you! War Eagle! My name is Kyla Hampson, and I am ecstatic to return as one of your AUMB Drum Majors for the 2025 season. I am from Dawsonville, Georgia, and graduated from Milton High School in 2021. I will be a fifth-year senior majoring in professional flight and music performance. This will be my fifth season in the AUMB and my third season as drum major; I served as a tuba section leader during the 2022 season.

Aside from the AUMB, I participate in several ensembles, such as the Auburn Symphonic Winds, one of Auburn’s brass quintets, the Auburn Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the Auburn University Symphony Orchestra, and the Auburn Trumpet Ensemble. When not participating in music, I am also involved with Auburn Aviation, where I serve as the Vice Chair of the Aviation Student Advisory Board and am a member of Eta Mu Sigma National Honors Society, Professional Pilots of Tomorrow, and the Ninety-Nines. Additionally, I will work as a Certified Flight Instructor for the Auburn School of Aviation starting in the Summer 2025 semester.

I have been super involved with marching band throughout my high school career, so auditioning for the AUMB was of no question and, by far, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have made lifelong friends and some of my best college memories. I can’t wait to see what this year’s AUMB has in store. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. War Eagle! My name is Bella Nonales and I am proud to serve as one of your 2025 AUMB Drum Majors. I am from Reeltown, Alabama and graduated from Reeltown High School in 2022. This fall I will be a senior majoring in Biosystems Engineering on the bioprocess track and this will be my fourth season with the AUMB. In addition to the marching band, I also participate in the Basketball Pep Band and am a brother of the band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi.

Being a member of the AUMB has truly shaped my Auburn experience for the better. Through this program, I have forged friendships that have been, and will continue to be, impactful in my life. The people in the AUMB are from diverse backgrounds and are welcoming, especially to new members. I feel that being a part of such a supportive organization helps the transition to college life and starting your own journey.

During my time in the AUMB, I have made many memories that will last a lifetime, and I know there are so many more experiences to have. I can truly say that I am looking forward to this new season, working alongside everyone, and making more great memories. War Eagle! My name is Fredrick Brown, and I am so honored to serve as one of the AUMB Drum Majors for the 2025 season. I am from Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Trinity Presbyterian School in 2022. I will be a senior this fall majoring in Music Education and Euphonium Performance. This will be my fourth season in the AUMB and my first season as a drum major. Prior to being a drum major, I also served as a Baritone Section Leader.

Aside from the AUMB, I also participate in Symphonic Winds, Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the Auburn Tuba-Euphonium Quartet (ATEQ) and Basketball Pep Band.

Being in the AUMB has truly changed me, and so many people I know, for the better. The discipline, accountability, and attention to detail that is expected of us carries over into every aspect of our lives. This organization allows me to take pride in my work as a musician and allows me to make many lasting relationships that I will cherish for a lifetime. Hey guys! My name is Cullen Bryant, and this coming fall I will be a sophomore majoring in Marketing. I graduated from Hoover High School in 2024. The 2025 season will be my second year as a member of the AUMB, and my first year as a R.A.T. leader. Apart from my participation in the AUMB, I am also a member of the horn ensemble here at Auburn.

My time in the Auburn University Marching Band thus far has been some of the most fun I’ve ever had. This program has done more for me than any other. I’ve made so many friends through the AUMB, and it’s given me something to work towards for most of my life. I’ve also greatly improved my musical skills since joining. I can definitely say that since becoming a member of this program, I’ve also become a much better leader, worker, and overall, more extroverted and comfortable. War Eagle y’all! My name is Kelley Bush and I am thrilled to serve as one of your R.A.T. Leaders for the 2025 season! I am from Calera, AL where I graduated from Calera High School in 2022. This fall I will be a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences, Pre-Med with a minor in Public Relations. This will be my third year as a member of the Flagline and my first year serving as R.A.T. Leader. Along with the AUMB, I am a part of Kappa Kappa Gamma, a panhellenic sorority and Rho Lambda.

Being a part of the AUMB has truthfully been the most rewarding experience and biggest blessing in my time here at Auburn. It has brought me such close friendships I am so grateful for and memories that will last a lifetime. The overall atmosphere of this band brings me so much joy and I cannot thank this organization enough for everything it has done for me. I am so excited to have the opportunity to welcome y’all into Auburn and for this upcoming season! War Eagle everyone! My name is Ainsley Collier, and I am so excited and honored to be serving as one of your R.A.T. leaders for the 2025 season. This fall, I will be a junior majoring in Music Education. I am from Kennesaw, Georgia where I graduated from Harrison High School. This will be my third year as a clarinet player in the AUMB, but my first as R.A.T. leader!

Outside of the AUMB, I am involved in Symphonic Winds and Tau Beta Sigma, our band service sorority. I am also involved in club swim and Auburn Community Church.

Being a member of the AUMB has been one of the best things to happen to me at Auburn. The AUMB has brought me some of my closest friends and favorite memories. Nothing compares to a Saturday night in the fall getting to cheer on the Tigers with 380 of your best friends. People often mentioned the “Auburn family” to me, but I never truly understood it until I stepped onto campus. The AUMB is the perfect reflection of a family. We cheer each other on in our victories and comfort each other in our losses.

Hello! My name is Owen Nichols, this fall I will be a sophomore studying Building Science. I graduated from UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile Alabama in 2024. This will be my second year with the Auburn University Drumline which I marched cymbals with this past season, and this is my first year as a R.A.T. Leader.

The Auburn University Marching Band has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Not only has it helped me to grow in musicianship and performance, but taught me valuable lessons of leadership, stewardship, and hard work. The AUMB has also given me a group of great friends here at Auburn that has helped me feel more at home here, which I wish for everyone in the next freshman class, War Eagle!

War Eagle everyone! My name is Kalea Connolly, and I am thrilled to serve as one of your piccolo section leaders this season. This fall, I will be a Senior majoring in Information Systems Management. I grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and graduated from Sparkman High School in 2022. Outside of marching band, I am a part of Tau Beta Sigma, one of our honorary band service organizations, Sigma Alpha Iota, a social music sorority, AU Symphonic Winds, AU Orchestra, and Women in Technology.

Coming to Auburn and being a part of the AUMB has always been one of my greatest aspirations ever since I was young, and it has rewarded me in every way possible. Being a part of this wonderful organization allows you the opportunity to meet new people, create amazing memories, and establish a place for youself here at Auburn. When you join the AUMB, you are a part of both the Auburn family and the Auburn experience. I am honored to serve as one of your section leaders and I am so eager to see where this season takes us.

War Eagle! My name is Elly Mulder and I am honored to serve as one of your piccolo section leaders for the 2025 season. In the fall, I will be a junior majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Management. I am from Birmingham, Alabama and I graduated from Oak Mountain High School in 2023. This will be my third semester in the AUMB. As well as being in the marching band I also play flute in the AU Symphonic Winds.

Being in the AUMB has been an amazing opportunity for me. It's given me so many rewarding experiences and led me to make wonderful friendships. This organization is truly a place to find a family, make memories, and make a place for yourself at Auburn.

War Eagle! My name is Daley Foret, and I am ecstatic to serve as one of your clarinet section leaders for the 2025 season! My hometown is Houma, Louisiana and I had the pleasure of graduating from Prattville High School (AL) in 2022. This fall, I will be a senior majoring in Music Education and Music Composition/Technology. This will be my fourth season marching with the AUMB. In addition to marching band, I am involved in Kappa Kappa Psi, AU Symphonic Winds, LEAD at Auburn, cNafME, and serve as an ambassador for the Department of Music.

Being a member of the AUMB has been one of the greatest blessings of my time at Auburn. Coming here was a big leap for me as I didn’t come from an Auburn family, but from the moment I joined this organization, I knew I had found one. The energy, passion, and camaraderie within the band are unlike anything I have ever experienced.

Auditioning for the AUMB will be the greatest decision you’ll make in college. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the skills and life lessons the AUMB has taught me, and for that, I am forever grateful. Hello and War Eagle! My name is Jarrel Vergara, and I am so honored to serve as one of the AUMB clarinet section leaders for the 2025 season. In the fall, I will be a Senior majoring in electrical engineering. I am from Chelsea, Alabama and I graduated from Chelsea High School in 2022. This season will be my fourth year with the AUMB. Outside of marching band, I have participated in campus band and organizations like the International and Korean Buddy Program, and I also served as the vice president of Auburn’s Table Tennis Club.

Being a member of the AUMB has truly been the best thing to happen to me in Auburn. After growing up loving marching band, auditioning for the AUMB was an easy decision. Having the privilege to march with the AUMB has given me lifelong friendships and everlasting memories. There is something about being an integral part of gameday. It is so rewarding to be able to perform for the Auburn family. Every day I am grateful to be a part of such an amazing group.

I will be a sophomore majoring in microbiology, with a pre-PA degree. This season will be my second with the AUMB. Outside of marching band, I am a member of AED. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and attending basketball games.

Being a part of the AUMB has been amazing and a blessing. I have made so many new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Hello! My name is Ricky Whorms and I’m one of the alto saxophone section leaders for the 2025 season. I’m originally form Grand Cayman, but I grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School in 2022. I am majoring in Music Education, and I will be a senior as of fall 2025. In addition to the AUMB I am also apart of Symphonic Winds, Jazz Band, Exit 51 Saxophone Quartet and the Auburn Knights Orchestra.

Hello and War Eagle! My name is Nathan Byrne, and I am excited and honored to serve as a trumpet section leader in 2025. I am from Mooresville North Carolina, which is just north of Charlotte, and will be entering my senior year studying Industrial Engineering. Along with my two previous seasons as a member of the AUMB, I have also been involved in Concert Band, Pep Band and Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor fraternity.

To say I have enjoyed my time in the AUMB would be an understatement. The opportunity to be a part of an organization that emphasizes both cooperation and performance at the highest level is a rewarding experience. It is truly incredible to perform as an integral part of gameday and to have a tangible impact on the atmosphere of Jordan Hare. There are lifelong friendships and memories that I have been fortunate enough to make, and I wouldn’t trade my time for anything!

War Eagle! My name is Josh Calvert and I have the honor of serving as one of the trumpet section leaders for the 2025 season. I am from Pelham, Alabama and graduated from Pelham High School in 2022. I will be a senior this fall majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and this will be my 4th season as a member of the AUMB. In addition to the AUMB, I also participate in the Basketball Pep Band.

Being a member of the AUMB is one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had. I’ve met lifelong friends and made so many memories that I will never forget. Traveling across the country and being a huge part of the Auburn gameday experience are just a couple of my favorite things about the AUMB. Getting to perform in front of 88,000 people and having the opportunity to represent Auburn is an honor and a privilege.

What’s up! My name is Alex Bardo, and I am excited to be serving as one of your mellophone section leaders for the 2025 season. I am from Chesterfield, MO (near St. Louis) and I graduated from Parkway West High School in 2022. This fall, I will be a senior majoring in mechanical engineering. This will be my fourth season with the AUMB.

In addition to the AUMB, I have previously participated in the Basketball Pep Band and Campus Band. I am currently a brother of our honorary band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi, as well as a member of the engineering honor society, Tau Beta Pi.

Being in the AUMB has been an incredible experience for me. It is so much fun to do what we do, and it has given me the opportunity to form deep connections and lasting friendships. I take a lot of pride in being a member of this band because of what I see every day in rehearsals; we are always working at the highest level. I am from Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania and I graduated from Lakeview High School in 2022. This will be my fourth season with the AUMB and my first as a section leader.

In addition to the AUMB, I also perform in the Basketball Pep Band and Campus Band. I am a brother of our honorary band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi. Outside of the AUMB, I am a Cupola Engineering Ambassador and an Engineering Peer Tutor.

Being a member of the AUMB has had such an incredible impact on my life. Hello and War Eagle! My name is Davis McKenzie and I am honored to serve as one of the Trombone section leaders for the 2025 season. This fall I will be a senior majoring in electrical engineering. I am from Samson, Alabama where I graduated from Samson High School in 2022. In addition to the AUMB, I have also participated in the Basketball Pep Band, Auburn Symphonic Winds and Concert Band, and the Auburn University Orchestra.

Auditioning for the AUMB was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Being part of the Auburn family in such a special way has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. As a core part of my university journey, the AUMB has given me invaluable opportunities to grow not only as a musician but also as an individual. I will forever cherish the friendships, experiences, and memories that have enriched my college experience in ways I never expected.

This fall, I will be a junior majoring in Building Construction, and this will be my third season marching with the AUMB. I am from West Point, Georgia and I graduated from Lee-Scott Academy in 2023. In addition to the AUMB, I have participated in Concert Band, Basketball Pep-Band, and Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.

Being a member of the AUMB has been such an incredible experience and has given me so many great opportunities and relationships throughout my time at Auburn. This program has truly made me feel at home here at Auburn and has taught me so many valuable life skills that I will carry with me throughout life. The positive impact that this program has had on my life really can’t be overstated.

War Eagle, everyone! My name is Michael Reuss, and I have the pleasure to serve as the section leader for the baritones in the upcoming 2025 band season. I grew up right here in Auburn, having graduated from Auburn High School back in 2021. This fall, I will be a senior majoring in chemical engineering, and it will be my fourth season marching in the AUMB.

I can confidently say, auditioning for the AUMB has been the best decision I’ve made in college. Aside from being able to participate in one of Auburn’s greatest gameday traditions, this program has allowed me to make meaningful connections with dozens of students all pursuing a variety of different degrees here at Auburn. Most crucially, the AUMB has provided me with ample opportunities to develop my leadership and other soft skills, which have already massively impacted my life. The lessons that are imparted upon students who join the AUMB will greatly benefit them post-graduation and for years to come. War Eagle! My name is Sam Ballard, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as one of your tuba section leaders for the 2025 season. I am from Hoover, Alabama, where I graduated from Hoover High School in 2021. This will be my fifth season marching with the AUMB and I am a senior studying business administration. Outside of the AUMB, I participate in the Basketball Pep Band.

The AUMB is an organization that I am thankful I have had the opportunity to be a part of. The sense of community within the band and the friends made throughout my time with the AUMB are priceless. What makes it even more special is the support the AUMB receives from the Auburn family- especially on game days. Hearing the crowd roar as we come out of the tunnel during pregame is an experience that cannot be put into words. The unique performance opportunities that we get to be a part of are also a reason why I am so thankful to be a member of this organization. Hello, everyone! My name is Theron Nixon, and I will be one of your resident tuba section leaders for the 2025 football season. I am from Marietta, Georgia, and I graduated from Pope High School in 2023. This fall, I will be a junior studying Hotel and Restaurant Management with a minor in Business, and this is my third year in the AUMB. Outside of marching band, I am also involved with the Basketball Pep Band, Concert Band, and Tuba Euphonium Ensemble.

Being a member of the AUMB is one of the most worthwhile experiences I have had here at Auburn. Since joining I have made so many amazing friends, and I have gotten the chance to travel to great places. As much as I enjoy getting to go to football games, I also enjoy getting to be a contributor to the atmosphere and game day environments. War Eagle, everyone! My name is Ariel Faulise, and I am proud to serve as your Battery section leader for the 2025 season. I am from Peachtree City, Georgia where I graduated from McIntosh High School in 2022. I will be a senior this year majoring in Professional Flight with a minor in Business. This will be my fourth season with the AUMB playing the crash cymbals.

Outside of the AUMB and my classes, I am part of several aviation clubs: Auburn Fit for Flight, Professional Pilots of Tomorrow, and the Ninety-Nines. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, hiking, and working out at the gym.

Music has always been a part of my life, and ever since I started marching my freshman year of high school, I knew that’s what I wanted to do in college. One of the reasons I picked Auburn was because I heard it had a stellar marching band. I have made so many friends and memories with this band that will last me a lifetime. I am truly grateful for this organization and everything it has given me. I am super excited to see what this season has in store for us. War Eagle! My name is Courtney Vail, and I am so excited and honored to serve as the Front Ensemble section leader for the 2025 season of the AUMB! This fall, I will be a junior majoring in Music Education. I am from Nashville, Tennessee, where I graduated from Merrol Hyde Magnet School. This will be my third season on the drumline, where I have been blessed with the opportunity to play vibraphone.

Outside of marching band, I have enjoyed being a member of the Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble, as well as the AU Steel Bands and Gospel Choir. I am also a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota and the 2024-2025 Phi Mu Alpha Sweetheart. When I am not performing, I am involved with the Auburn Christian Student Center and love spending time with friends and family!

For as long as I can remember, my family has been Auburn fans. Every opportunity we had to come see a football game (and the band, of course), we would take it. Auburn has always been my home, and I never doubted for a second that I wanted to find my place here in the AUMB. Through this organization, I have found my forever friends, second family, and have made many unforgettable memories! War Eagle y’all! My name is Avery Fox and I have the privilege of serving as Majorette captain for the 2025-2026 season! I am from Decatur, Alabama where I graduated from Austin High School in 2022. This upcoming year will be my fourth marching with the AUMB, and I could not be more excited! Currently, I am a senior majoring in Software Engineering.

Being part of the AUMB has truly been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Coming from an Auburn family, wearing these colors is a dream come true. Not everyone gets to say they’re living out their dream—but I can, and that means the world to me. The friendships, memories, and experiences I’ve gained through AUMB are ones I will cherish forever. I am so excited to see all the amazing people and opportunities this year will hold.

War Eagle! My name is Abby Ledbetter and I have the honor to serve as the Flagline Captain for the 2025 season! I grew up here in Auburn, AL and graduated from Auburn High School in 2022. In the fall, I will be a senior majoring in English Language Arts Education. Aside from being in the AUMB, I run a crochet business and I’m a Sunday school teacher for kids at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church in Franklin, AL.

This football season marks my third year spinning with the AUMB and it has taught me a lot about what it means to be a part of this organization. The AUMB has taught me how to be resilient, responsible, and overall, a better person. I grew up in an Auburn family and I would go to football games to watch the band. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to perform in the band, and it is such a blessing to be wearing orange and blue. Auditioning for the Tiger Eyes has been a decision that has changed my life for the better. I cannot wait for this season, and I hope you all are very excited! Hello and War Eagle!! My name is Lexie Mapes and I’m so excited to serve as Co-Captain of the 2025 Flagline! I am from Brentwood, Tennessee where I graduated from Ravenwood High School. In the fall, I will be a junior majoring in Biomedical Sciences (Pre-PA track) with a minor in Psychology. In addition to the AUMB, I am a member of the Pre-PA club, a sister of the sorority Tri-Sigma, and a volunteer at the CARE Humane Society.

This will be my third season as a member of the AUMB and it has truly been the highlight of my time here at Auburn. This amazing organization has increased my discipline and work ethic while giving me the space to make new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Being a part of the AUMB really helped ease the transition into college by creating a friendly and welcoming environment that I can always turn to. Hey y’all! My name is Ava Slocum, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the 2025-2026 Danceline Captain! I am from Hoover, Alabama and I graduated from Hoover High School in 2023. I am currently majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the Pre-Pharmacy track with a minor in Public Health. In addition to being a Tiger Eye, I am a member of First Baptist Church Opelika, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, and Lambda Sigma Honor Society, where I serve as Vice President of Philanthropy.

This will be my third year on Danceline. Being a part of the AUMB has been such a gift. It has given me so many incredible memories and friendships and I would not be who I am today without it. I am so thankful that the Lord has opened the door to hold this role as Captain, and I cannot wait for the 2025-2026 season!
