Outside of Marching Band, I am a brother for the Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity. I also participate in many ensembles including Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Saxophone Quartet, and Saxophone Ensemble. I attend Auburn Community Church where I volunteer on the Worship Team playing electric guitar.

Joining the AUMB has been one of the best decisions I've made since coming to Auburn. This organization has given me lifelong friends, lasting memories, and has pushed me to be the best I can be. I am so grateful to be in this amazing organization and be able to call Auburn home.

If you have any questions about Auburn, the AUMB, or college in general please send me an email. I would love to chat with you and help you become a part of the Auburn family. War Eagle!

Outside of Marching Band, I am involved in the Panhellenic Sorority Alpha Omicron Pi, Grace Auburn Church, and I am currently spending time getting trained in Emergency Medical Services in order to become an Advanced EMT.

I decided to become a member of the AUMB because I saw the deep tradition that the band is rooted in and the impact it has on the fans. I believe that the Auburn Marching Band is an integral part of what fuels the family spirit that makes Auburn unique, and I could not imagine missing out on an opportunity to be a part of that. I have learned so much from my time in the AUMB about responsibility, hard work, and giving to something bigger than myself. Being selected to lead the band this year is a humbling opportunity and a great privilege, and I look forward to serving alongside you to make the band, the students and the Auburn Family proud. If you have any questions about the band, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Facebook or through email. I look forward to seeing you at preseason camp! War Eagle!

I am a Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Communications. I am from Scottsboro, AL and graduated from Scottsboro High School in May 2018. Deciding to audition for the AUMB is honestly one of the best decisions I have made since coming to Auburn in 2018. I only visited Auburn once before band camp so I didn’t know many people when I moved here. Because of the AUMB and the hours spent with fellow band members, I made so many friendships that I will hold dear the rest of my life. The AUMB allows you to be a part of something bigger than yourself, experience gameday in the best way possible, and make new memories with new friends. My goal this year is to make your transition into the AUMB as smooth as possible and ensure this season is among your favorite Auburn memories. Feel free to reach out to me with ANY questions you may have about the AUMB. I look forward to meeting you. War Eagle!

Hi everyone and War Eagle! My name is Sydney Turner, and I am so excited to serve as your Tiger Eyes Flagline Captain for the 2020-2021 marching season. I am a fifth year senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I’m from Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Oak Mountain High School, and this will be my fifth year with the Auburn University Marching Band. Outside of the AUMB I am a member of the American Institute of Graphic Art’s student chapter in Auburn, the Auburn Alumni Association’s student chapter, and work as a freelance graphic designer for multiple campus organizations.

I grew up tailgating and going to Auburn games with my family and had no trouble deciding where I wanted to go to college, as it already felt like home here. Being a member of the AUMB has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and the highlight of my time at Auburn. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of an amazing program that allows you to connect with others, build new skills, and encourages growth in both your personal and academic life. I am extremely excited for what the 2020-2021 marching season has in store, and look forward to meeting all the new members of the band and getting to know you throughout the season! If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email, and I’d be more than happy to answer them. War Eagle, and welcome to the Auburn Family!

Erin Greer (Flagline Co-Captain) -  eag0039@auburn.edu

Hey y’all! I’m Erin Greer and I am honored and so excited to serve as the flagline co-captain for the 2020-2021 season! I am from Birmingham, Al where I graduated from Oak Mountain High School. In High School, I played the french horn in the marching and concert bands and I was also on winterguard and colorguard. This season will be the start of my third year with the AUMB and my first season as co-captain. In the fall, I will be a junior in the College of Education majoring in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. After graduation at Auburn University, I plan on getting my Occupational Therapy Doctorate degree.

Outside of marching band, I am a Student Ambassador for the College of Education and I am the Public Relations Officer for the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy club. You can find me in other clubs and organizations like The Student Alumni Association, Auburn Disability Advocates club, BraveHeart Center for Place and Purpose, The Eagles Program, and at The Church of the Highlands.

My favorite thing about being in the AUMB is that I get to perform every Saturday with my best friends! I have had the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people through the AUMB who have created a lasting impact on my life. Starting my college life with stability, positivity, and devotion from the AUMB has prepared me for the road ahead. I am so thankful to say that I am a member of this amazing organization! War Eagle always!
