DeZayveon Dickerson - djd0040@auburn.edu

Hello everyone! My name is DeZayveon Dickerson from Millbrook, AL and I am so grateful to be one of your Drum Majors for the 2021 marching season. This Fall, I will be a Junior majoring in Music Education with trumpet as my primary instrument. So far in the Music Department, I've participated in the AUMB, AU Concert Band, Pep Band, and Trumpet Ensemble. I also sing Tenor/Baritone in the AU Men's Chorus and Concert Choir.

This season will be my third with the AUMB where I formerly served as R.A.T. Leader and Trumpet Section Leader. Being a part of this marching band has made my transition to Auburn University more enjoyable and memorable than I could have ever imagined. It is my mission to make sure your season in the AUMB is one you can look back on as some of your best experiences at Auburn!

Please feel free to email, text or message me on social media (searching my first name is usually all you need to find my accounts). I look forward to seeing you all this Fall. War Eagle!

Ryan Griffin Headshot

Ryan Griffin - rtg0011@auburn.edu

War Eagle! My name is Ryan Griffin, and I am so excited and honored to serve as one of the Drum Majors for the 2021 season! I am from the small town of New Brockton, AL where I graduated from New Brockton High School in 2018. This fall, I will be a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. This will be my fourth season with the AUMB, and my first as Drum Major. Prior to serving as a drum major, I was a member of the baritone section, and I served as one of the baritone section leaders this past year. In addition to the AUMB, I am involved in multiple organizations in COSAM and the Honors College, as well as the Auburn Men's Club Volleyball team and Basketball Pep Band.

Auditioning for the AUMB was easily one of the best decisions I have made since coming to Auburn. This organization has given me the opportunity to travel and perform in amazing places, all while making countless friendships and lifelong memories. I am so excited to see what 2021 has in store for the AUMB and I look forward to meeting all of our new members! If you have any questions about the AUMB or Auburn in general, please feel free to contact me or any other student leader. War Eagle!

Brianna Jarvis Headshot

Brianna Jarvis - bcj0014@auburn.edu

Hey guys! My name is Brianna Jarvis, and I am so excited to serve as one of the drum majors for the 2021-2022 season! This will be my fifth year as a member of the AUMB. Before being Drum Major, I marched in the trumpet section, also serving for a year as a section leader. I am a “super-senior” pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Music Education. I am from Reeltown, Alabama, which is also where I graduated high school in 2017.

Outside of marching band, I’ve also performed with the Concert Band, Basketball Pep Band, AU Singers, Jazz Band, and Trumpet Ensemble. I serve as a brother of the National Honorary Band Fraternity of Kappa Kappa Psi, and I really enjoy doing outreach work; I’ve been the undergrad instructor for the AU Music Project and a United Sound mentor.

Being a member of AUMB has helped me grow into a better version of the person who arrived as a shy freshman in the Fall of 2017. Band has helped me meet and befriend so many different people, and I’ve had the best experiences with them. The AUMB has given me the opportunity to travel all over and make the kind of memories I doubt I’d have the chance to make on my own accord. If you have any questions regarding band, music, or college life in general, feel free to get in touch with me through email or on Facebook. I’m so excited for this upcoming season, and I’m looking forward to meeting each of you at preseason camp. Hope to see you soon, and War Eagle!

Outside of the AUMB, I play in many different ensembles such as the Jazz Band, Symphonic Winds, and Basketball Pep Band.

Choosing to be part of the AUMB was the best decision I made coming to Auburn University. It has given me so many memories and friendships that have helped me feel at home here at Auburn. I am excited to see what we will accomplish this season and if you have any questions feel free to email me. I can’t wait to meet you all, and War Eagle!

Having the opportunity to continue sharing my passion for dance through the AUMB has easily been the highlight of my college experience. I totally and completely admire the family the AUMB has brought me and love all of the amazing people I have met through this program. I pray that every person who becomes a member of the AUMB can find the same life-giving friendships that I have. I seriously can’t wait to get to know each and everyone one of you! Morgan Robyck - mgr0027@auburn.edu

Hi and War Eagle! My name is Morgan Robyck and I am so honored to serve as one of your 2021 R.A.T Leaders. This will be my second year being a R.A.T Leader. At first, I struggled with leaving home, but finding my place, people, and purpose not only within the AUMB but also at Auburn helped me tremendously! I am forever grateful for the AUMB for letting me be a part of such a wonderful organization where I have met some of my closest friends and made some of my best memories.

In addition to Marching Band, I am also a brother of Auburn’s chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi (a national co-ed band fraternity), and participate in Campus Band, and Men’s Choir and Concert Choir my Freshman year.

I decided to audition for the AUMB because I enjoyed playing and marching, but my experience thus far has been much more meaningful than that. The AUMB is a family and an invaluable opportunity for great experiences and personal growth. I hope you’ll find that being a member of the AUMB gives you the opportunity to make friends with some awesome people, become accustomed to campus life, and really enjoy your time here at Auburn. If you are considering auditioning, then I’d highly recommend it. Being a member of the Marching Band is a commitment, but it is worthwhile, and you’ll have a blast. Robert Nance (Front Ensemble) - rwn0006@auburn.edu

Why hello there! I am Robert Nance, a fifth-year senior in electrical engineering, and I am ecstatic for the opportunity to serve as the Front Ensemble section leader for the 2021 marching band season! This upcoming season will be my fourth and final “hoorah!” in the AUMB.

Originally from Huntsville, AL, I graduated from Huntsville High School in 2017 and was very active within the musical community. Here at Auburn, I have stayed active in the musical community, being a member of the several concert ensembles, marching band, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, and very excited to be a member of Men’s Chorus this upcoming fall.

Outside of the Department of Music, I serve as a student ambassador for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering through Cupola Engineering Ambassadors. I enjoy running, playing basketball, and fiddling around on guitar and piano in my free time.

Being a student ambassador means I give tours to prospective students - one of my strongest pieces of advice I give to prospective students is to GET INVOLVED. Personally, I can’t imagine a better way to be involved on campus than the AUMB. My experiences with the AUMB have given me true friendships and cherished memories. Plus, the Auburn Family is real, and having the honor of serving in something so vital to the spirit of Auburn fosters a stronger connection to the Auburn Family."

This will be my second year as a section leader and my fifth year in the AUMB. I’m from Decatur, Alabama and attended Austin High School. Outside of the AUMB, I am a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and attend Auburn Community Church.

Being a member of the AUMB has been the highlight of my college career! I have made incredible memories, formed what I’m sure will be lifelong friendships, and grown tremendously as a person. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be part of such a respected program that exemplifies integrity, hard work and collaboration. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding the majorettes, the AUMB, engineering, or Auburn in general. War Eagle!
