Short Bio

Michaela Daugherty serves as the Instructor for the Auburn University Tiger Eyes Flagline. Michaela earned her Bachelor and Masters in Elementary Education from Auburn University. While at Auburn, she was a member of the AUMB Flagline where she served as captain in 2015. Michaela also was a member of Tau Beta Sigma, the band’s service organization.  Since graduating from college, Michaela has been a Flagline coach as well as choreographed for multiple middle schools and high schools across the state of Alabama. Michaela has been an educator for the last nine years since graduating from Auburn. She currently serves as the K-2 grade Math Instructional Coach at Mt. Olive Primary School. Michaela is from Arab, Alabama, where she played clarinet and keyboard in Symphonic Band as well as Jazz Band and performed on the Color Guard during Marching Band season. Michaela currently lives in Auburn, Alabama, with her dog Bruce.
