Short Bio

Katie Glenn serves as the Instructor for the Auburn University Tiger Eyes Danceline. Ms. Glenn earned her Bachelors of Science in Secondary English Language Arts Education from Auburn University in 2022. While at Auburn, Ms. Glenn was a part of the Auburn University Tiger Eyes Danceline for 4 years. She also served as one of the AUMB R.A.T. Leaders during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. In addition to being a member of the AUMB, Ms. Glenn was an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi where she served as the Greek Sing Chair for 2 years. Before attending Auburn, Ms. Glenn trained in Birmingham, AL as a competitive dancer and dance team dancer. She trained and competed in the styles of ballet, contemporary, and jazz, while also performing with her high school’s danceline, the Vestavia Hills High School Rockettes.

Since graduating, Ms. Glenn works as a 6th grade English teacher at Drake Middle School in Auburn, AL. Outside of school, she has also had the opportunity to choreograph for and train dancers pursuing opportunities in collegiate and professional dance. She has taught in many dance team clinics across Alabama, while also judging in various auditions and competitions. In addition to teaching full-time, she plans to complete her Master’s of Education in English Language Arts Education at the University of West Alabama in June of 2025.
