Short Bio
War Eagle! My name is James Ezra Brown II. I am blessed to serve as one of your 2026 Tuba Section Leaders! I am a native of Montgomery, Alabama, and a graduate of Trinity Presbyterian School. This fall, I will be a junior pursuing a B.A. in Music and Liberal Arts with a minor in Music Business. This will be my third year in the AUMB and my first year serving as a section leader. In addition to the AUMB, I perform in Concert Band, Basketball Pep Band, Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, and the Tiger Quintet. I am also a proud brother of the ThrowDown Theta Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Being a member of the AUMB has impacted my life and played a key role in shaping the man I am today. I have met friends who I now consider family and built strong relationships throughout each season that truly make the time fly. I’ve created memories that will last a lifetime and gained experiences that have taught me accountability and helped me grow—not just as a player, but as a person.
