Be a part of one of the greatest College Gameday Traditions in the country!

The 21st Annual Auburn University Marching Honor Band will take place Saturday, November 21, 2026 during the Samford game. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on October 10, 2026. Applicants must also pay a $10 application fee and if selected to participate, will then pay a $50 participation fee. The Auburn University Marching Honor Band offers a unique opportunity for high school students to experience taking the field to perform alongside the Auburn University Marching Band (AUMB).

Program Features:

  • Perform at halftime with the AUMB in Jordan-Hare Stadium
  • Marching and music rehearsals with the AUMB
  • Festival medal awarded to participants
  • Honor Band T-shirt and meal provided
  • Interact with Auburn faculty and students
  • See the Tigers play!

The Auburn University Marching Honor Band is highly competitive, and some sections are more selective than others. A list of applicants selected to participate will be posted on our website mid-October.  

If selected, the cost to participate is $50. This includes a t-shirt, admission to the game, a meal, a medal, and an amazing game day experience! Participants will not need to purchase a ticket to the game.

Director recommendation emails will be sent after the application deadline has passed in early October. We will email all applicants to let them know when that happens.

We make our selections as quickly as possible after director recommendations have been collected. The roster of selected appicants is posted in mid-October.
