Short Bio
Ross Tolbert is an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant with the Auburn University Bands and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Prior to serving as a Teaching Assistant, Ross held several leadership positions, including Head Drum Major of the Auburn University Marching Band, Student Conductor of the Auburn University Youth Orchestra, Band Librarian, and Music Department Ambassador. During his time at Auburn, he has participated in Symphonic Winds, Chamber Winds, Concert Band, Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, and Men's Chorus. As a performer, Ross has appeared on oboe and English horn with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Red Mountain Theatre Company. He is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the National Band Association.
