Short Bio
War Eagle! My name is Fredrick Brown, and I am so honored to serve as one of the AUMB Drum Majors for the 2026 season. I am from Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Trinity Presbyterian School in 2022. I will be a fifth-year senior this fall double majoring in Music Education and Euphonium Performance. This will be my fifth and final season in the AUMB and my second season as a drum major. Prior to being a drum major, I also served as a Baritone Section Leader.
Aside from the AUMB, I also participate in Symphonic Winds, Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the Auburn Tuba-Euphonium Quartet (ATEQ), Basketball Pep Band, and serve as a Music Ambassador for the Department of Music.
Being a member of the AUMB has truly shaped my Auburn experience for the better. Through this program, I have made friendships that have been, and will continue to be, impactful in my life. The people in the AUMB are from diverse backgrounds and are welcoming, especially to new members. I feel that being a part of such a supportive organization helps the transition into college life and starting your own journey.
Deciding to audition for the AUMB was easily the best decision I have ever made. I have made many memories and relationships that I will cherish for a lifetime. I can truly say that I am looking forward to this new season, working alongside everyone, and making more great memories. If you have any questions about the AUMB, or Auburn life in general, feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to help! War Eagle!
