Trust me, when I say choosing to audition for the Auburn University Marching Band will be one of the best decisions you’ll make in college. Having the opportunity to be a part of this amazing organization has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. People talk about the Auburn Family, and while that is hard to achieve with close to 30,000 people on campus (though we certainly do try), 380 seems to be perfect. The sense of connectivity and community between your fellow band members is powerful and the memories and experiences that you will get to share with this group are ones you won’t ever forget.

Auditioning for the AUMB was one of the greatest decisions I made when coming to Auburn. I had no idea how much fun it would be performing with a high-level SEC band. The hard work we put in is rewarded tenfold when we get to perform in Jordan-Hare Stadium. My favorite moment from last season was at the Texas A&M game. We had just finished our pregame show and the football hype video was playing as we awaited the football team to take the field. When our newly elected interim head coach, Carnell "Cadillac" Williams, appeared on the jumbotron, Jordan-Hare roared like I had never heard it before. If you have any questions about the AUMB or Auburn in general, feel free to reach out to me at any time. War Eagle!
